Our team has designed infrastructure and worked with contractors to implement projects for municipalities and owners. This experience has been integral to our ability to design realistic solutions that are constructible. When you’ve stood next to the bulldozer operator who’s asking what you want to do, you have a much deeper understanding of what makes the difference between a concept and a constructible project.
COORDINATED LAND PLANNING
Our coordinated civil, landscape architecture and lighting services enable developers to streamline the process by submitting a single entitlement package for review. We’ve worked extensively with planning commissions and have a deep understanding of municipal codes and regulations. With our extensive experience, we’re able to create designs that are both practical and efficient, reducing the possibility of designs that won’t be approved or simply won’t work.
Our approach considers a range of factors, including environmental issues, soil conditions, variations in grade, municipal code, zoning/setbacks, stormwater, utility services, access, tree mitigation, and parking ordinances. The result is a highly coordinated effort that creates efficiencies and helps get approvals quickly.
Our civil department has decades of experience with private land development and redevelopment, as well as municipal design and design review for local and regional municipalities. Our highly specialized team includes licensed professionals with an FAA UAV pilot’s license, LEED accreditation, and ParkSmart certification.
