Since 2019, Harwood has served as Waukesha County Technical College’s on-call civil engineering and landscape architecture partner, helping the college plan, prioritize, and deliver campus improvements that support its educational mission and long-term growth. The relationship’s success has led to multiple contract renewals and expanded opportunities for Harwood’s multidisciplinary team, including the award of ongoing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services.
Working closely with campus stakeholders, Harwood provides strategic planning, design, bidding, and construction administration services for a wide range of capital improvement projects. Our familiarity with campus operations, infrastructure, and long-term objectives allows the college to move projects forward efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily activities.
Over the years, Harwood has completed numerous campus improvements, including parking lot and roadway reconstruction, fire training ground enhancements, EVOC track rehabilitation, indoor shooting range improvements, maintenance facility relocation, utility infrastructure upgrades, and building expansions.
