Harwood’s structural team utilized hot-rolled steel as the primary material, streamlining fabrication and allowing for a shallow roof profile. By integrating steel tube frames within the exterior stud wall at the Ambulance Entrance to support the tall parapet, the design eliminated the need for conventional roof bracing.
This facility will feature an emergency department with eight treatment rooms and an inpatient department with eight patient rooms, as well as diagnostic imaging, a pharmacy, and a laboratory. As Nutex Health’s second location in Wisconsin, the micro hospital addresses critical healthcare needs and reduces wait times often experienced in major hospitals.
