The Learning Center at Lac Lawrann Conservancy is a 3,200 SF environmentally sustainable building overlooking the Conservancy that operates in conjunction with the City of West Bend Parks and Recreation Department.

The Learning Center’s 75-person classroom provides a meeting place for student and community classes, workshops and programs. This room is also suitable for rental for private events such as parties and business meetings. The Learning Center’s upper level includes a meeting room, serving and storage rooms, reception area, and restrooms accessible from inside and out. The lower level allows a place for volunteers to store supplies, prepare programs, and a place to handle “muddy” feet.

Lac Lawrann Conservancy is a 136-acre nature preserve. It is a vast expanse of water, sky, wetlands, native hardwood forest, red pine plantation, tall grass prairie, and glacial landscapes. The Conservancy serves as an outdoor classroom for over 3,000 visitors yearly, including over 1,200 school children. Visitors participate in self-guided hiking and skiing, guided tours, special events, school field trips, and various public programs for families and individuals of all ages.
