The expansion provided space for two growing areas of practice. A new heart and vascular center allows the hospital to expand cardiac care programs including prevention screenings, diagnostic testing and rehabilitation. The diagnostic center allows the hospital to provide a variety of state-of-the-art imaging and treatment technologies including PET scanning, nuclear medicine, radiology, mammography, MRI, CAT scanning, laboratory and other diagnostic analysis. A new entrance lobby to service the center was also provided as part of the expansion.
