Harwood’s partnership with Wacker Neuson America Corporation began in 1986 when the construction equipment manufacturer opened in Menomonee Falls. Harwood has been key in facility expansions, offering engineering services in various disciplines.
Notable projects include modernizing buildings and developing a Training Center for equipment operation. Key contributions involve power services, innovative wireless LED lighting, and new HVAC units for energy efficiency.
Today, Neuson is focused on expanding its manufacturing capacity and revenue in North America by 2030, making the enhancement of its North American facility a top priority. The first project on their agenda involves creating a space for storing finished goods before shipping. This expansion will provide paved areas for 150 light towers and 1,000 excavators and skid steers. Covering 17 acres on the west side of their campus, the project will also include a 5,000-square-foot building dedicated to testing and preparing equipment before it is shipped.
